Zane loved waking up early on opening day and going hunting with daddy and mommy! He was such a good little hiker and hunter! We didn't see any bucks that morning, but were excited to see 10 doe's and 5 elk! Zane was so excited to find coyote poo on the trail! He wanted his picture taken with it! (he's pointing down at it)Zane and I spotted five elk across the hillside from us...about 150 yards away from us! It was really neat; Zane was super excited to see them!
Chet and Zane loooved going hunting with daddy and mommy!
The boys, and mommy all had fun loading up on the 4-wheeler to get one of the bucks! Chet was such a willing and eager helper! All loaded up, ready to head back to camp!
I was so excited to 'jump off' Pierson Creek with Will! Ever since I've moved up to Oregon, and joined the Garrett clan, I've always heard about jumping off of Pierson Creek! So, I finally got to do it! Pierson Creek goes straight down! A lot of it you slip and slide, and somehow manage to get through the dense foliage! It's very pretty! Unfortunately, we didn't see any bucks as I was hoping! We did spook up a bear as we were going through one of the fingers of the canyon, but couldn't even get a shot at it because the brush was so dense right there. It was a very neat experience!!At the top of Pierson CreekMy good hunting buddy!
The boys had sooooo much fun hunting, and playing around in camp! With so much dirt, and sticks we were quite occupied! ;DI've been having so much fun trying out recipes in our Dutch oven while camping! This is some yummy peach cobbler cooking!Reid looked so cute all bundled up! He especially loved playing on the four wheelers, and taking rides on them!
Two of the four bucks that were shot in our hunting party were shot in this deep canyon! I loved getting in on the action, hiking down, quartering out the two bucks, and packing out the meat! It was really neat! (and a bit of a workout!)
Auntie Angie, Jessica, Zoe, Kaia, Nana, Grandma, and the boys and I went over to Maui the end of September! We had such a wonderful time!! The kids had so much fun together, and loved going to the beach, and the pool everyday! Such a hard week! ;DThe kids were overjoyed to find a lizard hanging out in some plants! He was such a friendly little guy, letting the kids carry him around deciding best where to relocate him to another plant!
Soaking up sunshine was enjoyed by all! Poor little Reid was pretty much miserable, not feeling good the whole time we were there.... It made it quiet challenging, but then also made for some good snuggle time. We were still able to enjoy some sunshine though which was nice. =)

There was a little mini golf area at our condo that the kids had a lot of fun with! Great Grandpa Garrett would have been proud of the kids! =) They did really good!Future golfers! Reid loved watching the fish nearby! I wonder if he was wishing he had a fishing pole and hook with him?!Cuuute cousins!!
Enjoying an ice cream break! These comical kids entertained the people as they passed by! =D
We had a lot of fun spending a day in Lahaina shopping and looking around, and the kids of course had fun climbing on the Banyon tree!
What every boy needs in their backyard!
We loved so much spending a special evening together with Henry & Shermane, the workers, Bob A and Larry T. and a few other friends bbq'ing at a park together! What a special time! =) We are so thankful for time with the friends that makes the trip that much more special...
The park where we bbq'ed with the friends had a really neat cove that filled up with water when the tide came in to knee high on the kids! It was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and scenery!
