Thanksgiving fun!

We were all SO excited to meet Curtis & Angie's baby, Trett for the first time!! He is such a sweet and happy baby boy! Just cannot get enough of him!! (3 months old here)

Auntie Angie was SO excited to meet baby Aubry for the first time!! (5 1/2 months old here) 

It was so special to have Grandma here for Thanksgiving this year!!

Lily was in baby heaven! She absolutely adores babies!! She was kind of confused about Trett, so she just kept calling him Aubry, but he didn't seem to mind! ;D

We were so happy to have cute Finley and Ben & Mindy join us too!

Serious business going on! ;D Mapping our Black Friday shopping plan out! Which by the way was fabulous, even at 3:30 am!! Cannot wait until next year!

Chet absolutely loves babies also and is so good with them! It is so sweet to see! He was quite hard to convince that he should share Trett with you! They were quite content to snuggle, play, and whisper to each other...

Cars, Cars, Cars!

Will had to head over to Vegas for business the first part of November and invited me to come along too! It was so special to spend time with just us!! I loved to be able to sleep in! (*sigh!) And have no responsibilities for a little while.  Even though, I was done with all of that after day 2 of being gone, but the kids were having a fun time with Papa and Nana so we knew they were in good hands! There were 2 shows that we went to...the SEMA car show and the APPEX.  We surely got our walking exercise in!  It was fun seeing a whole bunch of cool cars and it was neat to be able to share the pictures and videos with the kids! (iphones are great!)

We also enjoyed doing some fun things when we weren't in business mode! We ate at the top of the Stratosphere...800 feet high! The food was amazing!!

 

We went all over the world inside the various casinos! Rome was beautiful!

 

New York was thrilling!

 

Paris was beautiful! What a fun trip!

Special days in CA!

Before Will and I went to Vegas we made a detour to the Bay Area to go to a wedding and spend special time with my mom! We took my mom  down to Carmel one afternoon to dine at Mission Ranch. (Clint Eastwood's restaurant and ranch) Will and I came here on our honeymoon 11 years ago! We've always wanted to came back to Mission Ranch, so it was extra special to be able to and also to share it with mom!

Wedding bells are ringing!

The wedding we came down to the Bay Area for was for my friend Jenny.  Jenny and I have been friends since middle school days and all through high school so it was extra special to share their wedding day with them!  

 

 

Papa's Nevada bull elk!

Papa drew a once in a lifetime bull elk tag in Nevada this year! It was super special for Will and Ryan to join their dad to help on the hunt! Will brought Chet along, who was super, super excited!! I'm so glad that Chet was able to go too! What an experience!

 

 

Veteran's Day

We spent Veteran's Day at a fun parade in Albany, boasting to be the biggest Veteran's Day parade in Oregon, and I believe it! The parade lasted for 3 hours!! But the kids didn't want to leave until the very end! They loved watching all the cool army gear, vehicles, army men, and getting candy of course! As soon as we got home, they started playing 'parade' where they went around (pretending to be army men) and I had to shake their hands and thank them for their service.  :)

 

 

Lady's Autumn Tea

It was so much fun to have a Ladies Autumn Tea! Drink a spot of tea, dress up, eat delicious food, and of course, most importantly spend time together! It was lovely!

Miss Lily Jane and baby! She so sweetly carries a baby around with her most the time!  The other day, I spotted her rocking baby back and forth while standing up! So sweet!

I forgot to take pictures of the yummy food, but we nibbled on Tomato Basil soup, quiches with pimentos, and roasted red bell peppers, cumcumber sandwiches, pumpkin scones with berry butter, and for dessert, key lime tarts, mini pumpkin pie tarts, and rasberry swirl cheesecake bites! Yummm! I love autumn!!

A visit from Grandpa!

We enjoyed a visit from Grandpa the first part of October! It sure is sweet to see how much Lily loves Grandpa! She's pretty good at wrapping all her sweetness around everybody's finger, and nobody seems to mind! She is a sweety! The boys and Grandpa are excitedly building a radio controlled sailboat together!
