It was so special to have a little visit from Jane B. and have Melissa W. stay with us before convention!  Lily's middle name is named after Jane! :) So special to get a picture of the two of them together!

We loved having Melissa and getting to know her better! The boys loved having Melissa at our home and whenever we see her now, they are so excited to see their friend Melissa! :)

Summer swimming lessons!

All three boys enjoyed swimming lessons at the Sweet Home pool during the month of July! It was so neat to see their progress over the month!

Watching from the sidelines!

Zane backfloating...

Chet in action! Jumping into the pool to dive for rings!

Happy, happy birthday to Zane!!!

Zane turned FIVE Thursday, July 11th!!  He was a lucky boy this year and got to celebrate his birthday three times!...At Grandma's, at Papa and Nana's, and at home! Zane wanted a Lightening McQueen birthday cake this year! And for his birthday dinner, he chose to have pancakes, layered jello squares, and sausage! Yummy!

We love Zane sooooo much!! He is such a sweet boy! Always stopping to give kisses and hugs to mommy and Lily especially.  He is always so thoughtful (usually!) being really good at sharing with others, and is developing into such a goofball which is epecially funny and unexpected sometimes since he's a bit reserved.  He is such a good helper to mom, wanting to help and do things by himself.  And a random piece of information...he's really good at putting puzzles together by himself! I am always amazed at him doing this! He has a good head on his shoulders! Oh how we love him so much!! :D

Growing up fast! Such a big boy!

It's so fun to celebrate with cousins!

Celebrating his birthday at Papa and Nana's with Beaver orange cupcakes! (one of Zane's favorite colors!)

Super good friends!

Celebrating with Grandma!

Fishy fun!

Coming back from Grandma's house, we stopped the night at Papa and Nana's and got in some good salmon fishing fun!!

Strollering babies together! ...sweet! :)

Lily has a new found fondness for babies! It is so sweet to see her giving baby kisses, hugs, and toting them around!

Rodney and Elysse M. were also at Papa and Nana's! Reid fell quickly in love with their little girl Paisley!

We loved visiting Grandma the first part of July!  There is always so many fun things to do in the Bay Area for the kids! And so many friends to spend special time with! We loved our time there with Grandma!  And are thankful for special memories made together as a family...

Santa Cruz beach boardwalk!!

We had a BLAST at the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk!! The kids had so much fun there we ended up going there two different days!! There were lots of fun rides, rollar coasters, and games for little kids, and also the beach!! So fun!!

So colorful and picturesque!

Luckily, there were rides for every age and height!

Reid is very into semi-trucks! This ride was perfect for him, and he is still talking about it til this day!

Toot-toot!

Sweet Lily!

Yee-haw cowboy!

Off from the ocean ran a river which was perect for the kids to wade around in! Lily even loved tromping around!
