A fun day at the coast!

 A couple of weekends ago, we went over to Newport for the day! It was so, so fun! I love super special family outings! First, we went to the aquarium! The boys thought all the sea creatures were really neat!  They all thought our day trip was the funnest day ever! It's so fun to be together! We cannot wait to go back for another adventure!

After we went to the Aquarium, we headed to the beach to play in the sand!  The boys had so much fun scooping and digging, and we even got to be witnesses to a wedding that was taking place a couple hundred yards from us! Hope Lily's crying didn't get in their video recording! oops!

 

 

 

 

Fun days together!

We loved having Papa and Nana up! Papa is getting quite the crew! This was the 'boys only' chair, but they decided to let Lily join them too! =)

The boys had so much fun playing with their train one day! Lily was quite entertained by it also going around and around! Choo-choo!

Mommy was rocking Lily to sleep, and Reid wanted to rock his baby to sleep too! So cute! I think someone else was really tired too!

And...we went to Kaia's super fun 4th birthday party at Wacky Indoor Bounce! Needless to say, the kids had a blast! This is the perfect spot for exerting excess energy!

Chet starts First Grade!!!

Chet was SOOO excited to start first grade this year!! He has the best teacher ever, Mrs. Riggs! Mrs. Riggs always has a different 'theme' for her classroom each year, and this year it is a pirate theme!! Chet is so happy and excited to be one of the first mates of Room 8! How fun!

Two days after Chet started school we went to Zane's preschool orientation!  Zane and Reid thought it was really fun to sit at little desks and color!

 

Zane is going to Preschool!!!

Zane was SOOOO excited to start preschool on September 10th!! He was so ecstatic that he was jumping up and down! So cute! I think he is happy to be going to school like big brother Chet!

On their first day of preschool, they were supposed to bring a special stuffed animal to share with the class.  Zane chose his beaver because he said, "We are the same.  He is a beaver, and I am a beaver!" =D

Playing before school starts!  Zane is adjusting so amazingly good! Preschool is going to be the best thing for him! He had a rough couple days at first, but is really enjoying being at school, and cannot wait to go back each day! So glad that we are doing preschool to make the transition into kindergarten easier for him!

Cousin Kaia is also going to the same preschool! While they aren't in the same class, they are "neighbors" so it's fun knowing that each other is there at the same time!

Reid has really been wanting to go to school too with Zane! He started crying when I told him it was time to go! But, we are having so much fun at home together!  It's fun to get some special bonding time with Reid, Lily and I!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!

We loved celebrating Will's 33rd birthday together!! (September 14th and also our 10th anniversary! The years have gone by so fast and they have been so wonderful spent together!) We love daddy SO much!!! Will is such a wonderful daddy and a wonderful husband! How lucky we are!

Lily and I enjoyed making and canning pickled green beans together from our garden! What a happy and cute little helper!

Summertime!

We were so sad (not really!) that Auntie Angie's flight got delayed after convention! We were so happy to spend an extra day with her!  Reid especially loved drinking coffee with Auntie Angie, his favorite! =D

We are so excited to have a garden this year that is actually producing produce! We have tried a couple times in years past, but to no avail...so this time, it is extra exciting!

Special Visitors!

The end of July we had some super special visitors!  We were so glad to get to spend some time with Troy, Beth, Joe, and Danny!!!  The kids get along so well together and had so much fun together!  Reid especially took a liking to Joe this time! Cute! Cousins, or second cousins, are so special!

 

 

We were also so excited to have a special visit from Great Grandma and Darla!! (Nana's sister!)
