The end of June, we spent a relaxing afternoon playing around in the mountains! The mountain flowers were blooming beautifully, and Will wanted to show me them (so sweet!) and take the boys out shooting.
We made it a little ways, 2 miles off the highway when we went over a big, sharp rock which left us stranded without cell phone service, and no one in sight! (we found out we were missing the metal rod that goes into the jack to change the tire...) Will was able to hike back to the highway and hitch a ride down the mountain back to our house to get his truck and trailer!
After loading the suburban onto the trailer we still had some fun!
The boys, and mommy too! were excited to do some target practicing!
We also had fun throwing big rocks down the steep hillside! It's fun to be a kid! ;)
